This solves Debian Bug #911880 by changing the default socket file in both the CMakeFile and the examples from '/tmp/mysql.sock' to '/var/run/mysqld/mysql.sock', which is the default in file '/etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/50-client.cnf' from package mariadb-client-10.1.
