I've filed an ITP at https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=922661.

This depends on signal-hook and thread-scoped (merged in this repo but not yet available), and fuse (still pending merge).

Not sure what the next steps are for me. I have glanced over the Developer's Reference... but after seeing that the process for Rust packages differs quite a bit, I don't know how much of that applies here. Guidance would be appreciated.
