Improve package scripts and auto-copy LTS kernels to staging

This MR includes 2 improvements to our package management scripts:

  • refactor "dual" aptly invocations into a single one, by using (slightly) more complex package query strings
  • ensure LTS kernel updates (which target trixie by default) are automatically copied to staging
